CloistersCloisters 11 - October 2006

The autumn mists have arrived in Scotland and we are in the midst of a busy term here in the New Curiosity Shop. Our Three Wishes courses are up and running (be sure to have a go) and we have a broad range of full-length courses available and under way.

This month, Arthur and I get into a philosophical discussion, about Who We Are, with Jenni Jenkins and Mike Wilson. Have a look and, if you still have questions, try Jenni and Mike's courses.

Noel is looking from the tutor's perspective at Learning Online. He has some fascinating insights into the teaching and learning process based on his long experience in education.

The New Economics focuses on the money supply this month, as Margaret Legum's series continues. She considers alternatives to allowing banks to control the money supply and offers possibilities that connect the money to reality in a more meaningful way.

Enjoy Cloisters #11 and remember that learning is a full-time process for us all. Consider learning for grown-ups with us.
