Cloisters May 2007
Welcome to Cloisters
Excitement is building in the College of Online Learning. We are putting the finishing touches to our virtual open week activities and it looks like another great week ahead. We all had a great time last year and met with many interesting and interested people, many of whom have gone on to take courses with us in the past year.
So, how does a virtual college become open? Visit Open Week page on the website to find out more about it, or simply join in by clicking here. It's all free. There will be a selection of course snippets that you can try out. These are taken from actual NCS courses and are supported by the tutors on those courses. So you can try the whole experience before parting with your cash for a full course - it's a great way to boost your confidence.
All week there will be a notice board in the Open Week Howf where you can leave messages for our staff to reply to and, later in the week, we will have the chat room open where you can talk to some of the tutors and NCS founders Noel Chidwick and Arthur Chapman.
For the real personal touch we are bringing back our extremely popular SkypeCast Conference. This became very busy last year with visitors from around the globe logging in to chat about the New Curiosity Shop and online learning.
So whatever way you like to visit, come and join us for our second virtual open week.
