Cloisters Summer 2007
Welcome to Cloisters
Now the rain is warmer, it must be summer, and we have our Cloisters Summer Special for you. This will have to keep you going until our next Cloisters comes out in August and so we have packed in some extra entertainment to tide you over.
The warmer weather has Noel dreaming of sea and sand and he has been thinking about the perfect sandcastle. The fruits of his labours can be read in Relax! Build a Sandcastle.
Arthur has been ruminating on the way we do things at the New Curiosity Shop. The result is his piece on our philosophy, looking at the Love of Learning.
To keep brains ticking over when relaxing on holiday, we have a summer reading list for you. We have scoured the Internet for sites that will educate and entertain you and you can find them here.
Once you have exhausted the summer reading, you may find you still need more. This is where our Course Snippets comes in. You will find that we have a selection of sample courses and activities for you and there is a Treasure Hunt which could win you a voucher for one of our courses.
So let me wish you a happy, relaxing summer, and I hope you will find yourself fully refreshed in the autumn to tackle new learning challenges with us at the New Curiosity Shop College of Online Learning.
