Richard Feynman (1918-1988) was one of the greatest theoretical physicists of the last century. His official website, Feynman Online, describes him as: “scientist, teacher, raconteur, and musician.ÃÂ He assisted in the development of the atomic bomb, expanded the understanding of quantum electrodynamics, translated Mayan hieroglyphics, and cut to the heart of the Challenger disaster.ÃÂ But beyond all of that, Richard Feynman was a unique and multi-faceted individual.”
He was a brilliant lecturer and teacher, and armed with nothing more than a piece of chalk and a sharp mind, he could explain and describe the most complicated and mind bending concepts in physics.
